Yay had some play time in my scrapbook room. Here are the thanks cards I'm passing out for those that helped me reach my goal for the heart walk!
They are flat cards, the white scallop is a new quickutz special card die that is only sold at archivers, the fuzzy hearts is from the cricut doodlecharm cartridge & the thanks die is from quickutz it's a cookie cutter die.

I first wanted to say THANK YOU to everyone who was able to help support me in helping me reach my goal for the heart walk, I really appreciate it. I was able to go past my goal and I raised $725.00! Whoohoo!! I also wante to say thank you to my friends who tagged along with me and walked in the heart walk as well: Tiff, Allison and Jon. I had so much fun at the heart walk and yes it was super hot outside. The American Heart Association did a great job of putting on an awsome event. There was tons of water and snacks available, massages and the fire department was there spraying the hoses to cool people off! Here are a few snapshots of the event. I can't wait till I make an album for this event ... now I need some heart albums hehe :-)
Today is a day to remember all the people that lost there lives and loved that were lost. At work we were allowed to wear red, white and blue to show our support. So I wore my american ribbon on my wrist to help show my support. I also want to add a note to not forget about all the soliders who are out there fighting for our freedom. They are doing an amazing job and I wish there quick and safe return home. Below are some images that I have found around the www. - Kathy

Here is one of my kitties, eeyore, he loves loves loves to be with me all the time and of course I love him :) so here he is in the arty room, half of my table is empty for when my arty buddies come hang, but when no one is there, eeyore takes over and hopes over to my side too. Ahh but how can you say no to that face.

I had these extra scraps from a layout I did...well to jump points for a second...I always use up the scraps to make cards!! So these scraps of paper were screaming thanksgiving tone to me, so I made some Thanksgiving cards & I haven't even worked on my Halloween cards ewk!!! The big turkey is from quickutz so cool. I also watercolored the fluffy the cat stamp :)
So what do you do with your scraps? Have you made any of your holiday cards yet? I am working on a project can't wait to show you!!! The power went out today boo!! It always rains in the afternoon here. I also got new wires for my braces no fun and beyond painful. But I'm doing better and also loving my new schedule!!! 4 off 3 on. How great is that?! As you can see above I have joined the Pbso walking group and have my own team, nothing pink, and I'm team captain! So I made everyone little notebooks to keep track of the miles because at work there is a contest and the team with the most miles wins!!!! The contest started today and our team has done 4.5 miles yay!!! I'll keep you posted off to bed I want to walk a mile in the morning.
